Tot Lot was built from the heart, inspired by our experiences, our family, and our love for bringing people together. After more than 30 years in education, and still working with children and families today, Stacey has always been passionate about creating meaningful spaces for connection and learning. With a BA in Human Development and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, her background has deepened her love for supporting children and families through the early years. Much of the inspiration for Tot Lot came from her own journey as a mom and now a nana. Stacey remembers the days of being home with three little ones, craving conversation, community, and connection with other parents who understood that stage of life. While Stacey is the creative mind behind Tot Lot, Richard is the steady force helping bring the vision to life behind the scenes. They both grew up in Tustin, attended schools in the community, and have deep ties to the city, so creating Tot Lot in the place they’ve always called home feels especially meaningful to them. Together, they created Tot Lot to be more than just a class space, it’s a place where children can learn and play while caregivers build friendships, feel supported, and know they’re not alone.
